Patricia Wallace Grice, 64, of Four Oaks, passed away at home on Monday April 29, 2024. She was born on November 14, 1959 in Johnston County, NC to William and MaeBelle Wallace. She worked as a waitress and loved to cook for and serve people.
Patricia is preceded in death by her mother, MaeBelle Jones Wallace, father William Ashley Wallace Jr., brother Randy Wayne Wallace, and sister Doris “Lynette” Wallace.
Those left to cherish her memories are son Jerry Wade Grice, Jr. (Felicia) of Clinton, daughter Jennifer Grice of Four Oaks, and son Marty Wallace (special friend Terry) of Newton Grove. Also brother Keith Wallace (Marie) of Four Oaks and sister-in-law Shirley Wallace of Four Oaks.
Other survivors include grandchildren Tiffany, Chase, Jackson, Tyler, Samantha, Courtney and Justin. Great grandchildren Serenity and Gunnar. Also nieces and nephews Sonya, Danielle, Melissa, Chris, Stephen, William, and Matthew. Great neices and nephews Jadyn, Jennings, Ashley, Miranda, and Maelyn. And her beloved chiuahua, “Little Girl”.
Ms. Grice enjoyed motorcycle rides with her son, yard sales, old country gospel music, talking with friends on the phone and keeping up with the local gossip. She loved putting on her make up and she was an ever present firm supporter of her children. And Patricia knew Jesus. She was very loved and will be dearly missed.
The family will greet visitors this week at the home of niece Danielle Reardon at 1077 US Hwy 701, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
Funeral visitation will be held Thursday, May 2, 2024 at West and Dunn Funeral Home in Newton Grove from 1:00-2:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at 2:45pm on Thursday, May 2 at Piney Grove PFWB Church Cemetery, 1207 US 701 Hwy, Four Oaks, NC.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested and may be made to the family or to the West & Dunn Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses for Ms. Grice.
