Ruth Holloman Crocker, age 78, of Clayton, passed away at her home on Sunday, April 3, 2022. Born in Johnston County on March 8, 1944, she was the daughter of the late James Turner and Sarah Eliza Holloman. She was also preceded in death by a sister Ethel Mae Stansbury, and brothers James Elton Holloman and Thomas Edward Holloman.
Surviving are her children, Ricky Crocker and wife Ann of Clayton, Kim Crocker Harden and husband Danny of Clayton, Charlie Crocker and wife Lindsay of Archer Lodge; grandchildren, Hunter Crocker, Drew Crocker, Austin Crocker, Tiffany H. Wright, Meredith Harden, Tyler Harden and Reece Crocker; great grandchildren, Ayden Harden, Amelia de la Rocha, Finn Crocker, Jack Crocker, Ella Harden and Henri Harden; sisters Aileen Barnes of Smithfield, Dorothy Foster of Orlando, FL and Faye Hill of Smithfield; special friend Allen Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma on Tuesday, April 5, from 6 to 8 pm. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
