Sondra Jane Bass

Dunn, NC: Mrs. Sondra Jane Bass, age 58, of Dunn passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 13, 2026 at 510 N.T. Whittington Lane, Dunn, NC 28334.The funeral will be held outside under a covered tent on her family farm – her very favorite place – followed by her graveside service at the Whittington Family Cemetery on site.

Mrs. Bass was born on December 20, 1967 in Harnett County and grew up in Meadow. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Roy and Bevie Parker Raynor and sister, Donna Barefoot. Sondra began her career as a cosmetologist before dedicating many years to raising her four children. In recent years, she lovingly cared for her sweet grandchildren during the week, a role that brought her great joy. She was deeply thoughtful and caring, and she never met a stranger. A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, she lived her faith through the way she loved and cared for others. She will be missed more deeply than words can express.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Graham Bass; children, Tyler Bass, Kasey Dudley and husband Colt, Lee Bass, and Sueanna Bass; grandchildren, Reece and Sadie Dudley; sisters, Gail Edwards and husband Jerry, and Laura Lee Raynor; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC.
