Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Vonzo Woodall, age 95, of Lee Public Rd. died Saturday, December 17, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM-Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. Rodney Britton and Mr. Rodney Barbour. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Woodall was born on May 31, 1927 in Johnston County to the late Robert Young and Mollie Allen Woodall. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary P. Woodall and Gladys Creech Woodall; children, Gary Woodall and Joseph Woodall; and nine siblings. Mr. Woodall retired from textiles and security guard at Fieldcrest. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church.
He is survived by his children, Debbie Brunner and husband, Jay of Clayton, Dean Woodall of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Jason Woodall and wife, April, Jeremy Allen and wife, Lindsay, Jessica Woodall, Jennifer Woodall, Joseph Woodall, Adam Woodall and wife, Catherine, April Lewis and husband, Scott, and Barbara Jean Allen; twenty-two great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild due in February 2023; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 10:00AM – 10:45AM Wednesday, December 21, 2022 prior to the service at Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church in Four Oaks.
