William Harvey Scott, age 68, transitioned to his heavenly home on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. He was born on August 10, 1955, in Hutchinson, KS. He was a long-time faithful member of Branch Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Selma. He loved his church family as much as his immediate family. He served as a deacon, youth leader, was on the cooking committee, choir member, and was also a camp counselor. He loved everyone he met, and his only wish was for everyone to come to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was constantly spreading the news of the gospel and his testimony to anyone he encountered whether at dialysis, Walmart, or the hospital. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He held many different occupations to support his family. He loved fishing, riding his motorcycle, riding horses, coloring on his phone and keeping up with friends on Facebook. His favorite thing to do was talk about and love on his grandchildren. He would always say they were his heart.
