Agatha Lorraine Sartin Stephenson, 93, gained her heavenly wings on Sunday, September 12, 2021. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM-Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Coats Baptist Church in Coats, NC, with burial following at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier, NC. Pastor Jimmy Newkirk will officiate.
Mrs. Stephenson was born on February 25, 1928 in Cedar Grove, NC to the late John Franklin Sartin and Belia Pettigrew Sartin. She was married to the love of her life, Reverend John B Stephenson for 63 years at his passing. She was also preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Malcolm Sartin and Gordon Sartin.
Left to cherish her memory are sons, Jerry Stephenson (Carletta), Van Stephenson; Grandson, Ryan Stephenson; Granddaughters, Emily Hopkins (Justin), Erica Richards (Nate) and Elise Stephenson (Maurice); Great- granddaughters, Addison Hopkins, Harper and Finley Richards; Brother, Marvin Sartin (Sandra). A multitude of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 9:30AM-10:45AM, Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Coats Baptist Church in Coats, NC.
