Clayton – Ande Johnson, age 55, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family that loved him dearly on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. Born October 3, 1962 in Johnston County he was the son of Ann Bettis Waters and friend John Howery of Selma and the late James Frederick Johnson. Ande worked with RTP Electrical Services for 11 years in Durham. He attended Thanksgiving Baptist Church in Selma.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Thanksgiving Baptist Church with Rev. Rickey Evans, Rev. Troy Harris, and Rev. Steve Reed officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his sister, Katherine Johnson Ogburn and husband James of Raleigh; special friends, Patrick and Erika Sherrell; and honorary grandchildren, Peyton Sherrell and Greyson Sherrell.
