Clayton – Anthony Ray “Tony” Medlin, age 54, died early Monday, December 03, 2018 at his home. Born February 3, 1964 in Fairbanks, AK he was a son of Thomas Medlin, Sr. of Oriental and the late Viola Tyrrell Medlin. Tony was a member of Tippett’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Clayton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2018 in Tippett’s Chapel FWB Church in Clayton with Rev. Eddie Moody officiating. A private family burial will follow in Dean’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.
Surviving in addition to his father are his wife, Rebecca “Becky” Medlin; daughter, Bambie Massey and husband Rev. Johnathan Massey of Burlington; grandson, Malachi Massey; brother, Thomas H. Medlin, Jr. and wife Janet of Princeton; and sister, Teresa Belcher and husband Donald of Kenly.
