Selma – Audrey Lynn Phillips Price, age 86, died Thursday, March 30, 2017 at her home. Born March 11, 1931 in Johnston County she was a daughter of the late Elijah and Ida Pittman Phillips. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Broadwell Price; son, Ernie Wayne Price; and brother, William Gray Phillips. Audrey was a member of Branch Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Selma.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2017 in Branch Chapel FWB Church with Rev. Rickey Evans officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday evening just prior to the service. Burial will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 in Branch Chapel FWB Church Cemetery.
Surviving are her son, Ricky Eugene Price and wife Laura of Selma; daughter-in-law, Peggy Price of Selma; brother, Wilton Phillips and wife Rose Ann of Concord; sister, Carol Batten of Wendell; grandchildren, Nikki Godwin and husband Jason, Mandy Brown and husband Thomas, Leslie Lasher and husband Mark, Jessica Lamm, and Jennifer Biggs and husband Derek; and great grandchildren, Justin Godwin, Madalyn Godwin, Colton Brown, Connor Brown, and Brooklyn Lasher.
