Belinda Lynch Keith, age 58, of Selma, North Carolina passed away on March 22, 2017 in Johnston Medical Center. Belinda was born September 1, 1958 in Lenoir County to the late William Butler and Elizabeth Bradley Lynch and was preceded in death by her sister, Stella Elizabeth Lynch. Belinda was married to John Macon “Big John” Keith on December 10, 1988 and they were married for 27 years, prior to his death on November 26, 2016. Belinda was a graduate of UNC Pembroke with a degree in education and received her Master’s in Education from ECU. She was a retired K-5 Special Education teacher, who taught in Johnston County Schools, mostly at South Smithfield Elementary.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with Rev. Rodney Pearce officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, just prior to the service.
Surviving are her daughters; Summer (Mike) Pilkington, Johnna Creech and Kathy (Randy) Harvey; grandson, Gannon Harvey; granddaughter, Angel Walston; granddaughter, Jalyn Walters; grandson, Justin Pilkington; granddaughters: Krisan Pilkington, Gabrielle Paige Adams, Makayla Faith Adams and Charity Ann Messer. She is also survived by a host of fur babies including: Rebel, Eli, Buddy, Pandora, Gizmo, Lilly, Chloe and Zoe.
