Princeton – Betty Rains McCloud, age 78 passed away Saturday October 26, 2019. Born in Johnston County February 4, 1941 to the late William and Thelma Daughtry Rains. In addition to her parents Mrs. Betty is also preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Rains; Great grandchild, Jordan Price. A graveside service will be conducted at Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery Monday October 28, 2019 at 11 AM. Mrs. Betty is survived by husband of 57 years Dan McCloud of Princeton; Daughters, Patty Harrison and husband Kenny of Princeton, Jeanne Hill and husband Mike of Princeton; Brothers, Curtis Rains of Kinston, William Rains of Princeton; Sister, Linda Tart of Princeton; Grandchildren, Andrew Price, Leigh Ann Williford, Amber and Zachary Hill; Great grandchildren, Garret and Aubrey Williford, Mason and Landon Price. Mrs. Betty was a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting, embroidery, cooking and crafting. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Betty Massey Circle of Hephzibah Baptist Church.
