Byron Vance Dyson, 78, of Selma passed away at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield on October 1, 2019. He was born January 11, 1941 in Bladen County, NC to the late Dock King Dyson and Mary Edna Horrell Dyson. No formal services are planned at this time.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Vann Dyson; son, Jeff Dyson; daughter, Shari Dyson Britt; granddaughter, Kerri Kidwell; and brothers, Earl Dyson of Pennsylvania, and Eury Dyson of Fayetteville.
