Clayton – Carolyn Gray Woodard Toole, age 72, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020, in UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh. She was born on September 30, 1948, a daughter of the late Lawrance and Hilda Woodard in Johnston County. She is preceded in death by her late husband Seth Earl Toole Jr.
Carolyn loved watching hummingbirds and feeding them, she also loved crafting and sewing. She was a devoted wife to her late husband and a loving mother.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 30, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma, with the burial to follow in Price Cemetery in Pine Level.
She is survived by her son Thomas Graham Oliver and wife Alexis Oliver of Middlesex, stepson, Daniel Earl Toole of Smithfield, sister, Joann Woodard Carroll of Princeton, niece, Christina Carroll, grandchildren, Emma Gray, Lilah Oliver, Maddison Oliver and Olivia Oliver.
