Pine Level- Catherine Barnes Bradshaw, age 86, died Wednesday morning, April 24, 2019 in SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born May 15, 1932 in Wayne County she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Dolly Sykes Barnes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Spicer Bradshaw; and siblings, Ollie Ray Barnes, Leonard Barnes, Jack Barnes, Lassiter Barnes, Effie Barnes, and Ruth Barnes. Catherine was a member of Pine Level Missionary Baptist Church in Pine Level.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2019 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Lee and Rev. Bill Groce officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
Surviving are her son, Willie Eric Bradshaw and wife Jennifer of Fremont; daughters, Linda Gail Sorrells and husband Dwight and Phyllis Pender, all of Pine Level; grandchildren, Jason Sorrells and wife Anne, Shannon Young and husband Timm, Heather Sasser, Taylor Farmer and husband Alan, and Tyler Bradshaw; and great grandchildren, Lilly Sorrells, Jane Lowry Sorrells, Wade Sorrells, Morgan Sasser, Ayden Sasser, and Everett Farmer.
