Clayton – Catherine Parrish “Blackie” Plyler, age 68, died Monday afternoon, November 19, 2018 in Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Born November 21, 1949 in Johnston County she was a daughter of the late Lennie and Eula Mae Fowler Parrish. She was preceded in death by a sister, Angie Cotton. Blackie was a member of the Church at Clayton Crossings.
A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 839 South Wick Avenue, Clayton, NC 27527.
Surviving are her son, Terry Lee Plyler II and wife Jennifer of Mebane; brothers, Linwood Parrish, Lonnie Parrish, Randy Parrish, Neil Parrish, and Mark Parrish; sisters, Barbara Branch, Gerri Benson, Juanita Starr, Gail Parrish, and Katie Narron; and grandson, Brandon Samuel Plyler.
