Charles Eugene “Charlie” O’Neal, age 87, passed away on March 26, 2018 at his home in Beaufort, NC. He was born on December 10, 1930 in Johnston County to the late Eugene and Robelia O’Neal. Charlie lived in the Beaufort/Harker’s Island area for the past 30 years. He loved fishing and a beautiful yard and garden. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Way and worked as Service Manager for FCX, Inc. For many years he owned an appliance repair company, servicing Wake and Carteret counties.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 29 at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma NC. The family will receive relatives and friends following the service.
Surviving are daughters, Beverly Youngquist (Lance) of Melbourne, Fl, Donna Vick (Gary) of Wilson, NC; grandchildren Leslie Y. Marquez (Obie) and Garrison Vick (Abigail); great granddaughter Leilani Marquez;
siblings Pearl O’Neal of Zebulon, Imogene Wilson of Smithfield, Lynwood O’Neal of Zebulon and Carolyn Gower of Wilson’s Mills.
