Wilson’s Mills- Charlie Gaston Johnson, Jr., age 65, died Thursday, May 2, 2019 at his home. Born July 22, 1953 in Wake County he was a son of the late Charlie Gaston and Hazel Radford Johnson. He was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Coates.
Surviving are his daughters, Angela Smith and husband Andre of Apex, and Kathy Sears and fiancé Tony Mai of Clayton; brother, Richard Johnson; sisters, Cheryl Allen and Connie Strickland; grandchildren, Dominique Smith, Christina Smith, Daylin Sears, Ashton Sears, and Caleb Mai; great grandchild, Jayce Smith; and his partner in crime, Baby.
