Benson, NC: Mr. Charles Wayne Norris, age 69, of 1929 Mamie Road, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Saturday January 25, 2020 at Mt. Carmel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, Dunn. Burial will follow in the Norris – Thornton Family Cemetery in Benson.
Mr. Norris was born March 23, 1950 in Harnett County to the late Thelton D. and Lou Retha Baker Norris. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley Norris Castillo. Mr. Norris was a US Army Vietnam Veteran, heavy equipment operator, and a truck driver. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Dunn.
Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Dawn D. Norris; children, Crystal Lewis and fiancée, Zac Dickens of Dunn, Brittany Sloan and husband, C.J. of Dunn, Blake Norris and fiancée, Jessica Spencer of St. Petersburgs, Florida; grandchildren, Nathan Lewis, Madison Castillo, Jillian Castillo, Ashleigh Sloan, Jake Lewis, Riley Sloan, Avana Dickens, Jace Dickens, Jax Dickens.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 24, 2020 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of Rhonda Ann Norris 1181 NC Hwy 55 Dunn, NC 28334
