Apex – Cynthia Lynn Lucas Lee, age 59, went to her eternal rest on Monday, July 8, 2019 at her home. Born January 15, 1960 in Edgecombe County she is a daughter of the late Silas Lucas and Betty Doris Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny E. Lee; and sisters, Joyce Marie Williams and Wanda Hall. Cindy was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2019 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home.
Surviving are her father, Junior Williams of Sharpsburg; daughter, Lori Reason of Apex; life long friend, Larry Reason of Raleigh; grandchildren, Rodney Shane Reason, James Carlisle Reaves, Jr., and Waylyn Zane Reason; brothers, William Lucas and wife Cynthia of Nashville, Perry Lucas of Raleigh, and Jay Lucas of Sharpsburg; sister, Deborah Wood of Rocky Mount; nieces, Renea Darlene Joyner, Nakisha Floyd, and Cynthia Davis; nephews, Joseph Williams, Matthew Hall, and Anthony Lucas; and a host of great nieces and great nephews.
