Daphene Allen King, 85, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 2:00pm in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service from 1 until 2pm. The interment will follow the service at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Surviving are son, Ronald Vilas King, Jr.; daughters, Elizabeth “Beth” Stephenson of Clayton and Wanda Dianne King of Martinsville, VA; sister, Barbara Godwin of Princeton; brother, Reggie Allen of Princeton; grandchildren, Ronald Allen King, Crystal Dawn Simmons and Kelly Michele Shuler; great grandchildren, Christian Blane Simmons, Crissa Jaden Simmons, Austin Bradley Shuler and Kortney Michelle Shuler.
