Smithfield – Denise Zurcher, 53, of Roderick Drive died Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Born in Durham County, NC on October 6, 1967, she was the daughter of the late Jimmy Ronald Roberson and Helen Smith Oleyar. Denise was an accounting coordinator at the Cypress of Raleigh. She was a big fan of the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team. Mrs. Zurcher enjoyed attending West Calvary Free Will Baptist Church and also loved to just stay home with her husband and her furry friend “Lucky”.
A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Selma Memorial Gardens. Reverend Ricky Ham will officiate.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband, Howard Allan Zurcher and numerous relatives and friends who she loved dearly. Denise was preceded in death by her father Jimmy Ronald Roberson and her step-father James Oleyar.
The family will receive friends at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma on Monday from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM
