Princeton – Donald Keith Thompson, age 70, passed away Thursday April 4, 2019 at his home in Princeton. Born December 20, 1948 in Newport News, VA, he was the son of the late Rev. W.W “Woodrow and Ola Mae Braswell. The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home on Monday April 8, 2019 from 1 PM to 2 PM. Mr. Thompson is survived by a son, Jason Thompson and wife Sandy of Princeton; Daughter, Donna Kaye and husband Casey of Irvine, KY; Ex-wife, Kaye Hudson; Grandchildren Davis and Michael Thompson, Carter McDonald, and Tessa Thompson. Mr. Thompson was a Vietnam veteran who was a member of the Wayne County VFW and American Legion. He is also a graduate of Lees College where he received an associate’s degree in engineering. Mr. Thompson enjoyed deep sea fishing, golf and shooting video games, University of Kentucky basketball, and any team who was playing against Duke University.
