Benson, NC: Mrs. Doris Blanche Hudson Warren, age, 88, of E. Brocklyn Street, died Saturday, January 25, 2020 at her residence. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM-Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson, NC. Officiating will be Rev. Mark Fields.
Mrs. Warren was born on May 3, 1931 in Johnston County to the late Jasper C. and Emma Johnson Hudson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Glenda Allen, sisters, Christine Raynor, Helen Butler, Effie McLamb, Peggy Lee and daughter-in-law, Frieda Raynor. Mrs. Warren was a retired seamstress in the textiles industry and was a homemaker. She attended Benson Pentecostal Holiness Church. Doris enjoyed her visits with her family, and looked forward each year to her trip to the beach with her sister, Jackie, and her niece, Sharon. She loved her afternoon porch visits with her neighbors, Diane, Edna Earl, Susan, Peggy and Cracker. She loved her Sunday afternoon rides and talking about years and memories gone by.
Surviving include sons, Billy Raynor and wife, Ashley of Dunn; Danny Raynor of Benson; daughter, Patricia McLeod and husband, Randy of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Laura Heath, Crystal Barefoot and husband John, and Amber Raynor; great-grandchildren, Casey, Heather, Jenna, Daniel and Miles; sister, Jackie Barefoot of Benson; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM-1:45 PM, Tuesday, January 28, 2020 prior to the funeral service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home.
