Ms. Doris Ingram Johnson, age 77, of 156 Surles Road, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Rex Healthcare in Raleigh. Graveside Funeral Services will be 11:00AM-Monday, April 5, 2021 at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Benson, NC. Rev. Joe Brown will officiate.
Ms. Johnson was born on February 1, 1944 in Johnston County to the late David and Agnes Horton Ingram. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn Phillips. Ms. Johnson was a homemaker and member of Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church, Benson, NC. She always loved to help with anything at her church and enjoyed working in her yard and watching her TV shows.
Surviving include her daughter, Melody Lockamy; grandchildren, Brittany Phillips, Lance Phillips, Cody Lockamy, and Savannah Lockamy; great-granddaughter, Bentley Blayke Lockamy; brothers, Charles Ingram, James Ingram and wife, Sheila, and Danny Ingram and wife, Debbie; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service and other times at the home.
In accordance with NC-COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing and the three W’s: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Masks are required for all services.
