Coats, NC: Mrs. Doris McLamb Tart, age 77, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC. A Graveside Service will be 11:00AM-Monday, January 4, 2021 at Prospect Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery outside Coats, NC.
Mrs. Tart was born on August 25, 1943 in Harnett County to the late Lester and Genevieve McLamb. She was preceded in death her husband, Charles Bruce Tart and many brothers and sisters. Mrs. Tart was a retired seamstress, homemaker and member of Prospect Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving include her daughter, Carole Ann Pollard and husband, Jody; son, Ronnie Tart and wife, Marla; grandchildren, Steven Tart and wife, Erica, Kevin Jones and wife, Joanna, Jessica Lucas and husband, Dale, Shelby Tart and husband, Kendall, and Bailey Tart; great-grandchildren, Allyson Tart, Aubrey Tart, Kady Jones, Reid Jones, Anna Jones, Avery Jones, Case Lucas, and Ely Lucas; sister, Dorothy Edgerton; special pet, Buster; many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Tart will be available for you to view and sign the register book from 12:00PM-5:00PM on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Coats, NC. The family will not be present during this time.
