Mrs. Dorothy Sessoms Allen, 73 of Autryville passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019 at UNC Hospitals at Chapel Hill.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Minister Bobby Oliver officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Allen was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of the late Isaiah Tobe and Betty Brock Sessoms. She was proceeded in death by husband Willis Wayne Allen of Four Oaks. She was retired from the Champion Products.
She is survived by a son, Thomas Lambert (Tbird) of Autryville; a daughter, Sonia Faircloth of Fayetteville; brother, Archie Sessoms of Salemburg; sister, Loucinda Bell of Georgia; stepdaughter, Rebecca Allen of Four Oaks; stepson, Christopher Allen of Four Oaks; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Butler Funeral Home of Roseboro is serving the family.
