Dunn, NC: Dr. Nathan Keith Blankenship, Dunn, NC, went to Heaven on Jan 1, 2019 at the age of 47. “Nate” was born on May 23, 1971, in Iredell County, North Carolina. he was a gifted musician, playing in several different bands over the years as a bassist and Keyboardist/Pianist.
Nate graduated from Appalachian State University, earning his Bachelor’s Degree, later attending Life University, where he earned a Doctorate of Chiropractor. In 2012, Nate met his wife, Charlotte and they were married the following June. In 2015, their precious daughter, Birdie was born and Nate was over the moon. Nate’s favorite hobbies were music and cooking, but he loved spending time with his family above all else.
Nate is Immediately survived by his wife, Charlotte Gregory Blankenship, 40 of Dunn, daughter, Audrey Elizabeth “Birdie” Blankenship, 3 of Dunn, and Stepson, Gregory Joseph Talton, 20, of Angier.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson . Visitation will take place on Saturday from 1:30 until 2:30 at Rose & Graham in Benson. A Graveside funeral to immediately follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Benson.
The family wishes to thank all of those who have surrounded us with love during this incredibly difficult time. Nate was loved by so many, and a blessing to all he loved.
