Edna Lassiter Starling, 85, of Princeton passed away Monday morning at her home. She was born May 5, 1931 to the late Nathan Lassiter and Effie Mae Pearce Lassiter. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Ray Starling; brothers, Nathan Lassiter Jr., Thurman Lassiter, Gardner Lassiter, and Paul Lassiter. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 7:00 pm in Casey Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Kelley Buffaloe and Reverend Jeff Barnes officiating. The burial will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017 in Princeton Cemetery at 11:00 am.
She is survived by: daughter and son-in-law, Susie Kornegay and husband, Danny of Princeton; sons and daughter-in-law, Donald Ray Starling, Jr. and wife, Connie, Ronald Steve Starling, and Nathan Wade (Johnnie) Starling all of Princeton; brothers, Tommy Lassiter, Dave Lassiter, Randolph (Monk) Lassiter and John Thomas (Rock) Lassiter all of Princeton; sister, Margie L. Pipkin of Princeton; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Casey Funeral Home Chapel.
