Edward Milton “Papa” Kirks, age 94, departed this life on Saturday, December 1, 2018. He was born in Johnston County on July 10, 1924 to the late Oscar and Annie Wilson Kirks. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 5, from 10 – 11 am followed by a graveside service with military honors at Oakland Heights Cemetery in Smithfield.
