Selma – Edward Warren Delahooke, age 90, died Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Born December 26, 1926 in Eerie, PA he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Delahooke. He was preceded in death by first wife, Peggy Delahooke; and brother, Alan Delahooke. Edward was a member of the Light of Christ Outreach Center.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Bruton officiating. Burial will follow in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce Byrd Delahooke of the home; sons, George Delahooke and wife Jan of Clayton and Theodore Delahooke of Smithfield; stepchildren, Martin Brown of Lillington, Lou Ann Norris and husband Freddie of Benson, Rebekah Jo Svendsen of Selma, and Neal Brown and wife Brenda of Selma; fourteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
