Elizabeth Lane Murray, age 80, of Selma, passed away at her home on January 19, 2019 following a period of declining health. Born in Johnston County on September 6, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida Mae Millard Lane. Mrs. Murray was a longtime active member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Selma.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 23, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with burial following in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am, just prior to the service.
Surviving are her husband, Fred Murray; sons, Gerald Murray and wife Jo of Kenly, Terry Murray of Kenly; daughter, Tammy Eason and husband Eddie of Selma; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
