MICRO – Mary Ellen Barbee Baker, age 45, died Saturday, September 29, 2018 at her home. Born December 8, 1972 in Johnston County, she was a daughter of the late James Barbee, Jr.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2018 in the Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.
Surviving are her daughters, Brandi Nichole Baker of Wendell and Leyla Barbee Trejo of the home; mother, Mary Jo Creech Barbee Baker and husband Glenn Baker of Micro; step-sons, Donnie Baker and wife Alma of Micro and Michael Baker and wife Michelle of Four Oaks; brothers, James Richard Barbee and wife Monica, Matt Barbee and Jeremy Keith Barbee all of Selma and Terry Lynn Barbee of Kenly; five grandchildren, Joseph Baker, Brittany Baker, James Baker, Michael Baker and Brianna Baker and two great grandchildren, Scarlett Baker and Joseph Baker, Jr.. She is also survived by special friend Jamie Trejo.
