Selma – Estel Compton, Jr. loving husband, faithful father and a servant of Jesus Christ, left this world for his eternal home in Heaven on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the age 63. Estel was born on April 15, 1953 in Butler County, OH. He was a son of the late Estel and Mildred Byrd Compton. Estel was a dedicated member of Calvary Faith Center in Wendell.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Calvary Faith Center at 3:00p.m. Pastor Glen Keefer will officiate the service.
Surviving Estel are his wife, Mary Compton of Selma; sons, Ryan Buchan of Cary, Joseph Compton of Selma, and Johnny Smallwood; daughters, Kay Buchan of Charleston, SC; Candice Compton of Selma, and Carla Compton; brothers, Tim Compton and Jimmy Thompson; sisters, Linda Wright, Sandy Ring, Geraldine Frazier, and Phyllis Rogers; and grandchildren, Cayden Jones and Andrew Katko.
