Selma – Faye Wall Edwards, age 76, passed away peacefully, at her home on Monday, April 13, 2020. She was born a daughter of the late Johnny and Nellie Durham Wall on December 18, 1943, in Johnston County. She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Mr. Bill Edwards; brothers, Phillip and Johnny Duke Wall, and her sister Barbara Nell Tedder. Mrs. Faye was a founding member of Divine Crossings Baptist Church and she worked with the Baptist Association for more than 20 years before she retired. Her favorite pastimes were working in her yard and spending time with her friends and family.
A private, family only, graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2020, at Selma Memorial Gardens in Selma.
Mrs. Faye is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Edwards and her son, Vern Edwards and wife Patty of Selma, grandchildren, Hayley, Brody and Chase Edwards.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to the caretakers; Carolyn McLamb, Stephanie Williard, Jean Sullivan and Sandy Eason. Also a special thanks to 3HC Hospice care for their help and support.
