Frederick George Lempe III, age 24, of Smithfield, passed away on June 30, 2018 from complications of injuries received in an automobile accident in 2011. Born in Johnston County on October 15, 1993, he was the son of Frederick George Lempe II and the late Angela Talton Preddy. He was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Doris Jones Lempe and his grandfather, Richard Samuel Talton. At the time of the accident, Freddie was a Senior at Smithfield-Selma Senior High School.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 11, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.
Surviving are his father, Frederick George Lempe II; grandmother Faylene Poole Talton; grandparents, Tommy and Connie Phipps; and his half-brother and half-sister, Chris Langston and Nicole Preddy.
