Selma – Linda Gail Byrd Creech, age 69, died Sunday, June 30, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her family. Born January 22, 1950 in Johnston County she was a daughter of Marie Roberts Byrd of Selma and the late Lewis Byrd. Gail was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Selma.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Nichols and Rev. Steve Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday just prior to the service.
Surviving in addition to her mother, are her husband, Roy Creech, Sr. of the home; son, Roy Creech, Jr. and wife Stephanie of Pine Level; daughter, Sandy Radford and husband Scott of Wendell; brother, Jerry Byrd and wife Debra of LaGrange; sister, JoAnn Bailey of Sneads Ferry; and grandchildren, Kaitlyn Radford, Hunter Creech, Brycen Creech, Nathan Reeves, Harley Medlin, and Hailey Medlin.
