George Glenn Price went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. Born February 22, 1929 he was a son of the late Carl and Lina Pittman Price. In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Garner Price; brothers, Eldridge Price and Carl Price, Jr.; sister, Jewel Brown; and grandson, Brent Owens. Glenn was a farmer and retired from NC DOT. He enjoyed many things but most especially his family. Glenn never let a day go by without telling everyone he met that he loved them. He leaves a life of love and honor to the Lord and his family and all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Parrish Funeral Home on Saturday, November, 9 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home just prior to the service.
Glenn was an amazing Godly man and father. He leaves behind a daughter Debbie Price Owens and husband Monty Owens of Kenly, NC and his son William Michael Price of Sims; five grandchildren, Kimberly Bissette of Black Creek, NC, Ashley Price of Kenly, Brooke Anderson of Alabama, Brandon Owens of Kenly and Allison Price of Goldsboro; and six great grandchildren, Isaiah Price, Braylee Anderson, Peyton Anderson, Austin Owens, Brynn Bissette and Kassie Bissette.
