Grace Massey Creech, 86, died on January 17, 2019. Born in Johnston County on September 12, 1932, she was the daughter of the late James Andrew and Ila Odom Massey. Grace was also preceded in death by her husband Lunceford Creech, her brother James Andrew Massey, Jr., and her sister Louise Massey Rose.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in the chapel of Underwood Funeral Home with Reverend Lee Colbert officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
Surviving are: daughters, Patricia Brown and husband Doug of Clayton, Beth Dickens and husband David of Smithfield; grandchildren, Matthew Brown and wife Ashley of Princeton, Marvin Dickens and wife Brandi of Clayton, Dylan Brown of Raleigh, and Michael Dickens of Boston; great-grandchildren, Aubree Brown, Maddie Brown, Mason Dickens, and Logan Dickens.
The family will receive friends at Underwood Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1 PM to 2 PM prior to the funeral service.
