Harold Wayne Brown, age 80, of Selma, passed away at this home on January 2, 2020. Born in Johnston County on August 4, 1939, he was the son of the late Arthur Millard and Cretta Pearl Brown. His wife was the late Helen Booker Brown who passed away in June of 2019. Mr. Brown was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
A private graveside service is being held.
Surviving are his sons, Harold Millard Brown and wife Kenia of Selma, Robert Wayne Brown and wife Sheila of Selma; sisters, Jean Pate, Iva Lee, Lois Peterson, Nell Turnage and Imogene Davis; and grandchildren, Collin Brown, Merlin Brown and Marc Brown.
