Selma – Martha Helen Wiegand, age 85 passed away Thursday October 10, 2019. She was born in Johnston County May 18, 1934 to the late Mike and Callie Eason Mckeel. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by husband, Aubry Aaron Wooten, second husband, Richard F Wiegand, and sister, Evlynn Mouser.
A memorial service will be conducted in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home Sunday October 13, 2019 at 6 PM. Mrs. Martha is survived by Sons, Aubry Wooten and wife Kristen of Atlanta, GA, Terry Wooten and wife Debbie of Clayton; Daughters, Anita Vega and husband Edwin of Jacksonville, FL, Deborah Scott of Rougemount, NC; Thirteen Grandchildren; Seventeen great grandchildren.
Mrs. Martha was a strong willed woman who was dedicated to God and her family. She enjoyed dancing the “Cha – Cha”, and had a great sense of humor and witt. she was a dedicated wife and loving mother.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her name to Spraggs on a Mission, care of Emmaus Church, 3425 Sans Pareil St. Jacksonville, FL 32224.
