Lucama: Henry Carson Ford, 88, passed away Saturday evening at Wilson Medical Center.
Carson was born in Wilson County on August 10, 1929 to the late Henry Walton and Nellie Everette Ford. He was married to the late Hazel Mason Ford. Carson proudly served his country in the United States Army for twenty years. He was also a Mason.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Kenly Funeral Service. A service to remember his life will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at noon by the graveside at the Mason Family Cemetery with military honors.
Carson is survived by his sons, Henry Carson Ford, Jr. and wife Shyrene of Fayetteville and Stanley Ford and wife Onnie of Fayetteville; sisters, Mackaleen Dean Butts, Judy Herman, and Marie Finn; grandchildren, Denise Jackson and husband Matthew, Eli Alford and wife Savannah, and Cindy Turner and husband Brantley; and a great grandson, David Turner.
In addition to his parents and wife, Carson was preceded in death by his daughter, Patty Ford Mosley.
