Hilda Mae (Foster) Marcellino, age 84, peacefully passed away in her sleep on Thursday, December 3, 2020. Born February 4, 1936 in Selma, NC. The daughter of the late George and Betsy (Stallings) Foster. She was a devoted wife to the late Joseph Francis Marcellino Jr., loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.
Mass at 12 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2020 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Clayton.
Burial at 4 p.m. Friday at Selma Memorial Gardens in Selma.
Hilda is survived by five children: Tony (Mindy), Kathy (Bob) Sellers, Paul (Nina), Mike (Julie), and Jim (Kelly). Thirteen grandchildren: Kathryn, Joseph, Elizabeth, Corey, Allison, Nick, Mollie, Madeline, Madison, Gigi, Mia, Rosa, and TJ. Seven great grandchildren: Damian, Elijah, Oliver, Karou, Jade, Adrian, and Cameron. Also surviving are five siblings: Betty (Tom) Marcellino, Richard (Hilda), John Wayne, Sue Williams, and Ann Lee.
Hilda was predeceased by son, John, and brothers, Harold and George Foster.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church Building Fund, 4057 US 70 Business, Clayton, NC 27520.
