Clayton – Hilda René Casares Mena, age 86, died Monday, January 22, 2018 in the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born November 18, 1931 in Holguin, Cuba she was a daughter of the late Segundo Casares and Maura de Zayas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nestor P. Mena.
Surviving are her son, Nestor E. Mena and wife Madline of Clayton; brother, Segundo Casares of Miami, FL; sisters, Elsie Casares and Norma Casares, both of Cuba; and grandchildren, Jenna Mena and Cristina Mena.
