Mr. Howard Donnie Barnes, age 64, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021 at his residence. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM-Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Rev. Tim Stevens will officiate.
Mr. Barnes was born on October 9, 1957 in Harnett County, NC to the late Howard Lee and Sally Mae Goodwin Barnes. Mr. Barnes was a retired trucker with Waccamaw Transport. He was a Carolina fan, loved racing and Bojangles.
Surviving include his children, Amy Marshburn and husband, Garrett, and Jessica Barnes; grandchildren, Austin Lane and Blake Lane; brother, Danny Barnes and wife, Polly; several nieces and nephews, and a host of special friends.
The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral service on Saturday, and other times at 2719 Memorial Church Road Kenly, NC 27542.
