Ivon Harold “Tick” Crabtree, 85, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 2:00pm in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service from 1 until 2:00. The interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Larue Harrison Crabtree; daughters, Wanda Church and husband David of Raleigh, Denise Johnson and husband Gavin of Clayton; sons, Kelly Crabtree and wife Teresa of Clayton and Michael Crabtree of Clayton; sister, Grace Bailey of Clayton; sister-in-law, Ruby Crabtree of Little Rock, AR; brother-in-law, Hugh Parker of Wadesboro; grandchildren, Brad and his wife Stacey, Ryan, Brooks, Kyle, Brian, Kelly B, Whaley; and one great granddaughter, Gracelyn; several nieces and nephews.
