J B Toler, 84, of Goldsboro, NC, died Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Kitty Askins. He was married to Patricia “Pat” Brogden Toler of 63 years. He was born January 27, 1936 and was the son of the late Malcolm David Toler and Ramie Hawley Toler Beasley. Mr. Toler is also preceded in death by sisters, Jean Toler, Nell Toler Heath and Janice Faye Toler Hall.
Mr. Toler was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, Superintendent of Sunday School and Choir member. He was also an avid fisherman. Mr. Toler was also the President and founder of Possum Hollow Hunting Club. He found great pleasure in the fellowship and many activities he and the other members shared.
The Funeral Service will be conducted 12 noon, Wednesday May 27, 2020 at Casey Funeral Home & Cremations with the Reverend Rudy West officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Princeton Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends starting at 10:00 am until 12 noon Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Casey Funeral Home & Cremations.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia “Pat” Brogden Toler; daughters, Debra Toler Woodard (Roger), Katrina Toler Jones (Will); grandchildren, Jessica Brooke Woodard, Patrick Rogers Woodard, Jeremy Blake Jones (Sarah), William Robert Jones, Jr. (Shannon), Morgan Lee Scott (Matt); great grandchildren, Jacob Brooks Woodard and Christopher Patrick Woodard, Kiersten Judith Smith, Garrett Wesley Smith, Summer Alyssa Jones, Sierra Riley Jones and Sadie Marie Jones.
