Smithfield – James McArthur “Jimmy” Temple, age 57, died Friday morning, August 21, 2020. Born May 12, 1963 in Harnett County to Betty Guin of Smithfield and the late William Monroe Temple. Jimmy was a brick layer by trade and has been fighting Bile Duct Cancer for several months.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2020, in the Dicey-Dunn Cemetery near Four Oaks. The family will receive friends following the service.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his fiancée, Darlene Lasarky of Princeton; daughter, Ashley Pilkington of Newton Grove; sister, Lynn Temple of Holly Ridge and 6 grandchildren.
