James Michael “Mike” Dorsey, age 69, of Conway, SC, formerly of Johnston County, passed away on September 13, 2019. Born in Edgecombe County on February 6, 1950, he was the son of the late James Wilson and Helen Gay Dorsey. Mike was also preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Dorsey and Randy Dorsey. Mr. Dorsey was a 1969 graduate of Selma High School and formerly operated D & C Wholesale Florist in Goldsboro.
Surviving are his son, James Michael Dorsey, Jr. and wife Brooke of Raleigh; his daughter, Denise Dorsey Worley and husband Wayne of Princeton; two grandchildren, Darren Dorsey and Greyson Dorsey; and his sisters, Connie Brown of Pine Level and Debbie Mullen and her husband Kenneth of Rocky Mount.
A private graveside service will be held in Selma Memorial Gardens.
