RALEIGH – James Person Peedin, age 86, died Saturday morning December 15, 2018 in the Transitions HospiceCare of Raleigh. Born September 18, 1932 in Johnston County to the late John Leonard and Harriet Wiggs Peedin, he was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Lane Peedin.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2018 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. just prior to the service.
Surviving are his son, Randy Peedin of Raleigh. Jeff Lane and wife Teresa and Gary Lane and his wife Carol all of Clayton; daughters, Joyce Taylor of Garner and Brenda Fields of Sumter, SC; brother, Vance Peedin and wife Jean of High Point; sister-in-law, Athlea Peedin of Pine Level and 10 grandchildren, Megan Peedin, Samantha Peedin, Donna Reid, Candra Kubik, Hayden Lane, Spencer Lane, Morgan Lane, Angie Fields, Charles Fields and J. R. Lane.
