Ricky Starling, 57, passed away suddenly Tuesday morning while at work.
Ricky was born in Wilson County on October 9, 1961 to the late B.J. and Linda Stallings Starling. Ricky worked with Johnson and Johnson in Kenly for twenty years before he started working with Taylor Made Cases in Benson. Ricky enjoyed spending his free time out fishing and enjoying a good NC State Basketball game, but nothing was more important to Ricky than the time he was able to spend with his granddaughters.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Kenly Funeral Service. A service to remember his life will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. by the graveside at the Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Curtis Jones officiating.
Ricky is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Violet Boyette Starling, son, Marty Parnell and wife Carla of Micro; sister Rebecca Hooks and husband Billy of Fremont; granddaughters, Erica Parnell, Olivia Parnell, and Jessica Parnell; his future great grandson, Lucas Cole Finch; nieces, Tracy Jennings and Morgan Furgeson; and his special K-9 companions Sweetpea and Bay .
